Scent Gutter

Scented Gutters
Interzone. Shawinigan. 2021

The dandelion is here honored and smelled, in a new object: an olfactory gutter.

Inseparable element of the alley, the gutter is here diverted from its meaning, for a real detour of the senses.

Here is a new sensory experience, a play of contrasts between a pristine plant life and the urban setting of the alley.

Two worlds that collide and reveal themselves to each other.

An olfactory illusion, an emotion from elsewhere, a sensory immersion that invites us to change our way of perceiving space.

Change of scenery I: dandelion fields

Change of scenery II: forest and clouds
